Dejamos el coche en el Pontet de Rius (1.647 m.) ) y a los pocos metros cogemos el GR11 -18 que en este tramo es muy evidente.

Alcanzamos la presa y pasamos junto el Refugio de la Restanca (2.010 m.). Con dirección E., siguiendo de nuevo el GR con un ascenso fácil alcanzamos el Estanh deth Cap Deth Port (2.229 m.).
