Opis:
Every year our alpine club goes to Central Alps for a glacier tour. Unfortunately we did not reach the summit of Finsteraarhorn (4274 m) due to bad snowy and rocky conditions or because of exhaustion. But we did hiked the biggest glacier in the Alps - the Aletsch glacier. Our starting point was the town of Fiesch (1061 m), from where we took the Fiescheralp to get to 2212 m. We stayed in the Finsteraarhorn hut. I really love the beautiful Switzerland and am looking forward to getting back again as soon as possible.
