Opis:
Il monte Argentera è la montagna più alta delle alpi marittime. La salita normale dell'Argentera è sicuramente una delle più belle delle alpi occidentali. L' Argenterà comprende diverse cime, la cima sud è quella più alta, tocca i 3297m. Il percorso è contrassegnato come escursionismo per esperti EE, poi dopo i 3000 metri diventa una salita alpinistica di grado PD. La parte più interessante è sicuramente quella denominata 'cengia'. Uno stretto sentiero a strapiombo a 3200 metri, in cui si è sempre esposti al vuoto di oltre 100 metri. Non c'è infatti margine di errore.
