**** ABOUT THIS VIDEO *****

A four-day, three-night somewhat-epic journey in the Savage Gulf Natural Area in Eastern Tennessee. No tent, just a tarp--which I set up a different way each night. I covered 70 miles with other semi-lightweight backpacking gear, including a $50 daypack from Wal-Mart (because my new lightweight pack hadn't yet arrived in the mail). Trails covered: Stone Door, Connector Trail, North Plateau, Savage Falls Day Loop, Mountain Oak, Big Tree Spur, North Rim, Stagecoach Road, South Rim, Collins Rim, Collins Gulf. Sites: Cator Savage Cabin, Hobbs Cabin, Stagecoach Road, Stagecoach Road Campsite, Savage Falls, Suter Falls, Horsepound Falls, Fall Creek Sink, and Schwoon Spring. Dates: August 24 - 27, 2015.
