Von der Fiescheralp aus geht es über einen schönen Wanderweg hinauf zum Eggishorn. Der Berg ist mit seinen knapp 3000 Metern Seehöhe an sich recht unspektakulär. Umso imposanter ist jedoch die Aussicht vom Gipfel auf den Aletschgletscher, dem größten Gletscher der Alpen.
