Opis:
6 hour T4 tour set within impressive rock formations, climbing up and down 1,200 height meters. In the morning, the water of Wägitalersee was calm and mirror-like, reflecting the surrounding landscape beautifully. I took the path along the lake and climbed up to Schiberg over Hohfläschhütte where a very nice lady served the last of the season's drinks. In a week she would close shop, she said. You'll not find yourself alone on this tour, there are a lot of people who enjoy mountain sports in this area (a lot of trail runners). The view from Schiberg was beautiful, but it was very windy, so I did not stay on top long. Going back down over Bockmattli Pass was marked blue, alpine path, and quite the adventure. I understood the reason for the blue marks when I walked on the narrow path on Bockmattli Ridge, it was vertigo-inducing! All in all a nice end-of-season hike.
