Vom Ortskern Forstau fährt man südwärts Richtung Forstau-Winkl. Die ersten 4 km legt man auf Asphalt zurück, dann kommen ca. 7 km immer leicht ansteigende Schotterstrasse bis zu den bewirtschafteten Almhütten Fallhausalm oder Vögeialm.
