Großvenediger je s 3657 m najvišji vrh Venedigergruppe v Visokih Turah in Salzburga. Leži neposredno na glavnem alpskem grebenu na meji med Vzhodnim Tirolom in Salzburgom. Njegov videz je zaznamovan z močnim poledenitvijo z vseh strani, med drugim Schlatenkees in Obersulzbachkees, pri čemer posamezne ledenike ločujejo štirje zelo markantni grebeni.
