After two years of talking about it we finally get back to Europe on what turned out to be one of the wettest summers on record. This means making the most of our time in the sun. So just hours after touching down, and 24 sleepless hours since leaving home, we suit up for a run to the Guggi Hut on the flank of the fabled Eiger mountain in Switzerland. I can’t think of a better way to start our Europe adventure than in the shadow of the Eiger and Jungfrau. We’ve got big plans for our time in Switzerland and France but the weather might require some adjusting. Luckily there are unlimited mountain opportunities in the Alps.
