Dom se nahaja ob robu gozda ob grbinastih travnikih nad Bohinjskim jezerom. Zaradi bližnjega gozda je razgled omejen in se vidi le del Spodnjih Bohinjskih gora. Lepši je razgled od pet minut oddaljene razgledne točke.
