Begunjščica je 2060 metrov visoka grebenska gora, ki se dviguje nad Gorenjsko ravnino. Vrh je zelo priljubljen v vseh letnih časih, morda še bolj pozimi, kot poleti, ko ga gorniki po večini 'napadajo' po številnih grapah na severni strani grebena.
