Dal Ponte de Ru Curto si sale attraverso un bosco di larici sul sentiero 437, si raggiunge un punto panoramico dove si può ammirare dalle Cinque Torri, al Lagazuoi, le Tofane, Cortina d'Ampezzo, Monte Cristallo e il Gruppo del Sorapis. Si prosegue sul sentiero 434 fino a giungere la lago e al rifugio Croda da Lago.
