Partenza da un sentierino un po' nascosto di fronte la Chiesa Vecchia di Galzignano e si inizia a risalire.
Sbucati sull'asfalto si prosegue per via Raccola oltrepassando le ultima case prima del bosco; si guada un calto e si comincia a salire la dorsale del monte Orsara; il sentiero non è sempre bello agevole ma praticabile.
