Opis:
The Patrouille des Glaciers race took place from April 27 to 30, 2006. This biennial ski race starts in Zermatt and finishes in Verbier (53 km with 3,994 m of vertical gain). Despite unstable weather conditions, the winners set a new speed record. The team made up of Stéphane Brosse and Patrick Blanc (both French) and the Italian Guido Giacomelli finished the race in 6h18'48'. They beat the previous record they set in 2004 by 12 minutes!
