Everyone in Hidden Valley Campground woke up Tuesday morning to a surprise notice that the campground was closing at noon the same day. I walked over to Peter's site to see what he was up to for the day but on my way over, I noticed him scrambling up the boulders to the base of Spider Line. He had talked about doing a big free solo linkup day and I had talked about filming it but I had no idea today was going to be the day. I ran back to my van to get my camera in order to film Spider Line, his 13th pitch of the day. I followed Peter for the better part of the day until an ankle strain stopped him from continuing. In all, Peter up-climbed or down-climbed 72 unique routes rated 5.4 and higher. I filmed all but the first 12 but some routes were intentionally omitted to keep the video at a reasonable duration.
