Montscheinspitze (2106m) v Karwendlu kot prečenje je genialna dnevna tura za res izkušene pohodnike. V zanimivi kramljanji in odličnem terenu gre gor, preko majhnega grebena spet dol do udobne Plumsjochhütte. Ime hriba sicer nima z lunarno svetlobo (čeprav kamninske oblike spominjajo na lune), ampak pomeni „mala gorska planjava“. Razgled z najvišjega in hkrati najlepše oblikovanega vrha Vorkarwendla je super.
