Opis:
The Pacific Crest Trail briefly skirted the edge of the Trinity Alps Wilderness in Northern California when I hiked thru in 2020. I remember seeing massive granite peaks off to the west and writing notes to myself to return here after my thru hike one day to explore the area more thoroughly. This 5 day backpacking trip is our first excursion of summer 2021, and it did not disappoint. Split into 2 videos, in Part 1 (Days 1-3), we hike through the heart of the famous Four Lakes Loop—jam packed with high passes and pristine alpine lakes. Make sure you continue the journey by checking out the video for Part 2 (Days 3-5), as the trail takes us through a granite wonderland brimming with wildflowers and into the Giant Redwoods!
