Tom Rabl is from Kitzbühel, Austria. He has been a mountain guide since 2008, a profession he shares with his wife. Tom has spent quite some time reflecting on the interplay between lightness and safety, experience and preparation, and has developed a well defined framework. “My role is to take care of what happens under the hood of an ascent. That’s the core of guiding. My purpose is to support who comes with me to enable a fully experience of the mountains. That’s the key of progression.”
