Der Trafelberg ist von der Masse her ein ziemlicher Koloß von Berg, allerdings nur 1142 m hoch. Er befindet sich östlich vom Unterberg. Der in Ost-West Richtung verlaufende Bergrücken ist an der Nordseite steil, an der Südseite sanfter.
