Opis:
Die Höhle Windegg bei Ziegelbrücke (Schweiz) ist eine sogenannte Überdeckungshöhle. Sie entstand durch einen grossen Bergsturz der vor unbekannter Zeit niederging. Die Schuttmassen aus Nagelfluh Gestein (Gneis) füllten am Fusse des Berges Bäche und Rinnen auf. Man kann das Sturzmaterial am oberen Teil auf einer Länge von ca. 80 Meter unterqueren, wobei man am unteren Ende der Höhle wieder ins Freie gelangt. Die Höhle ist kein Ort für Leute mit Platzangst und Spinnenphobie. Sie hat an mehreren Stellen so enge Passagen, dass man ohne Rucksack liegend hindurch kriechen muss.
