This climb is the epitome of epic adventure in the rock climbing genre, Boulder CO Style. A wild down climb on a hugely exposed knife edge ridge is just the beginning. . . then comes a thin and even more exposed & scantly protected traverse across the north face. Dare I say this route is a bit sand bagged for the difficulty if you power over the well protected overhang as we did in the video, safety first, LOL. Finally, there's a small respite as you enjoy the expansive views while ascending the flying ramp like east side of this flatiron. It's just enough time to chill out before the monster rappel, akin to a Space Walk, with only one thin line connecting you to life itself as you go into orbit, touching down on that same razor thin edge you came in on! A final big vertical rappel lands you right next to your pack where you stashed your gear on the way up. KICK-ASS!
