The route itself has unrivaled position and exposure on an amazing rock formation, the Wave, bridging two Awesome Mountains, the route can be scrambled or class 5 easy mountain climbing, whichever you prefer. . . We had a blast despite starting up Arrowhead from Black Lake on what appeared to be a fairly established trail that led us too far east and to the foot of a scary class 5 slab ascent!
